Overview
  • The placement process at IMED concentrates on two major areas:
    • Upgradation of the domain skills and soft skills in the students in order to increase their selection chances
    • To renew the contact with the past recruiters, establish new contacts and invite the organizations for the campus interview.
     
    The training process of the students starts in the second half of the penultimate year, and the recruitment generally starts with the commencement of the final year. The process continues till the last student is placed and sometimes even after the final results are out.
     
    The institute is fully equipped to conduct the Pre-Placement Talk with latest audio –visual aids, written examinations in the best possible environment, group discussion in a specially designed cabin and personal Interviews. There is a spacious cabin for the deliberations of the interviewing teams of the organization. Arrangements for transportation and lodging of the interviewing organization are made based on the requirements projected by them.
     
    An inter departmental committee of senior faculty members is formed to guide the placement cell. Apart from the final placements, the needs of the students for the internship and vocational training are also attended by the placement cell.
